Too Cool!!! Map your ride and better your trainin Fairly easy to use straight out of the box. The gadget allows you to track your ride. You can even enter virtual markers and the GPS will measure the distance to each of them. Great for sprints too. You can upload your ride to google earth and see where you went. A cool feature is the sunset time (so you know when you have to be back by). Aside from that, it will tell you pretty much everything you would want to know.

Tracking workouts and being able to show them to others is a great inspirational tool. All the metrics: cadence, speed, altitude, heart rate, grade, etc seem very reliable. If you have the meter hooked up to the wheel, it uses that to judge speed. If you don't it automatically switches over to GPS for speed. The one data item that is missing is "rate of climb", which I loved on my Sunto watch, since when you're going up hill, it basically...

| | | Great piece of equipment I've been very impressed with my Edge. The battery life is good, uploading data is easy, and setup is pretty easy. I'm still learning how to use some of the features, but the perks of the unit are very impressive - accurate (compared to my Cateye), plenty of information displayed in an easy to read format, replaceable batteries in the cadence and heart monitor unit, good software, light weight.

| | | Awesome Computer-Worth it! Although it was back ordered for 2 weeks...it was worth the wait. Incredible price for an incredible bike computer. The mnfg website does not do this justice. They don't talk about half the features...view up to 8 fields on one screen. I can see everything at once. And you select what is in each field. Want it bigger? You can select how many fields per screeen, something like 4, 6, 7 or 8. The software loads no problems, computer downloads effortlessly, and the graphs and info is truly beyond be...
