Pros: What a great freakin deal. This is so cool to get around with.
Tonite on the way home (55 mile drive)..we asked gps for nearest Italian restaurant...then typed in one of our favorites...and it was in the data base !! It gave us the perfect route to the door !! This is the best price I have seen for this...I payed $25 more and thought I got a good deal.

Pros: Very easy to use out of the box. The points of interest are great for finding just about anything from fast food to a winery. The widescreen makes for a better picture than the normal size which is very useful since you don't want to be squinting to see street names while driving.

Pros: I got this for Chirstmas 2007. I used it to get from my parents house in PA to mine in TN. Worked perfectly (after the firmware update). The best GPS I ever have, Fred 12/18/07 Wow! After using this on a long vacation I can't imagine not having it. Just get in the car, plug in where you want to go (takes about 30-60 seconds) and you're off! Even going to places we know, it shows us the the secret back roads and short cuts which is ideal when you're not a local and move around a lot. The kids love tracking where we are, when we'll arrive and which way to turn next--this was totally unexpected. My wife, who usually hates anything electronic, now uses it to go on errands ...

Pros: This is the perfect device for any GPS user. The 4.3" display is a must have. Garmin has put together an operating system and interface that is incredibly easy to use! I didn't even need to open the manual to start finding and plotting my destinations (Which is a very good thing, because documentation is extremely limited).

Very capable GPS Tech Level: somewhat high

Pros: Good price and a good GPS that will get you from A to Z without any hassle. It is extremely easy to use and perfect for those wanting a good device at a good price without a steep learning curve.
The automatic day-night option is a huge plus for me that not all others at this price point have and should be something for you to consider.

Pros: Worked for the first night only.
Cons: Could not connect to any sats on day 2 of use. Everything else worked giving me the false hope that it would start working if I drove around some.
Other Thoughts: This is the first piece of electronics that I've had just stop working (could not locate sats anywhere) for no apparent reason. Very disappointed.
