Good microphone While it might be more expensive than a desk microphone, it delivers. Quality is very good, and the clip and cord are both really sturdy (albeit a bit short - this looks like it was designed to be plugged into something on your belt). I don't know if it would be different with another sound card or if used with a device other than a computer - but it picks up a good deal of ambient noise. i.e. people playing Halo out in the hall screaming "DOUBLE KILL" and so on.
