Turns-out it makes a great gift! My wife's the runner, but doesn't care much for gizmos; I'm the tech guy in the family. So I was taking a big chance when I ordered one of these for her as a Valentine's & birthday present. The first morning she didn't have the heart rate monitor strap adjusted right, but the foot pod worked right-off.
