Great Device -- Lots of bugs It is true that this device is very easy to setup and works well.
However be aware that the latest firmware is riddled with bugs, especially in the area of remote syslog and vpn administration.
If your buying this unit to do site to site vpn you might consider looking at the SonicWall TZ 190 too.
Although this unit has a CLI, it is very limited, you will need to do most of your setup programming via the http interface.

Dual WAN Load Balancer for home Fantastic out of box experience, this device is easy to configure and had me up and running with load balanced dual ADSL WAN devices in minutes. Definitely reccomend for the power user or small business user needed more than one line or a redundant circuit for failover.
Only con is there is no true DMZ setting in the current firmware, but a virtual DMZ can be created. A bit cumbersome, but nothing that would stop me from buying a second device.

Pros: It has been good and stable router so far. Has a stealth feature in the firewall which will make a incoming port not responsive in port scans. Good throughput, at least for my FIOS connection.
Cons: Somewhat limited by missing firmware features such as DMZ and inability to remotely configure the router over any port other than 44...

Netgear Scores Again Tech Level: high

Pros: Bought this to replace a Netgear FVS124G which is now EOL'ed by Netgear. Setup on this router was a piece of cake! I was done in 30 minutes. Throughput is great. The SSL-VPN feature ROCKS for those who don't want to pay for and configure Netgear's IPSec VPN client. I really like the fact that the SSL-VPN can be changed at the 336G and changes take afftect as soon as the user logs in next!

Nice router I replaced a Cisco 802 with this bugger, performance seriously abused the Cisco. The install/setup was quick and easy and having the fail-over/load balancing option is nice.

These things are bulletproof We have several of these and several of the $65 netgear firewalls, but those cheaper firewalls keep locking up. These are pricey, but they seem to take anything.
