Coolpix is cool This is my 3rd digi-camera. I "needed" a small one as my others are more professional. It easily fits into a pocket. The picture and color quality is very good. Other reviews mentioned "sluggish" on the picture taking speed but compared to my other (older) models, it's adequate for point-and-shoot. The Macro has trouble focusing if held too close. great deal for the money Pictures might be a tiny bit sharper, but no big deal. The quality is high, regardless. The battery life is incredibly long compared to previous digital cameras I've had (now using Energizer rechargeable NiMH 2650 mAh, so that might make a difference), even using the good quality LCD to preview. Cool Pix! this is my 3rd digi-cam, it's the simplest and smallest. Just a point-and-shoot to have handy for quick pix, when the SLR is too heavy to lug around. It easily fits into a small bag or pocket. The set-up is easy to learn and it does what it's supposed to do. It's a tad slow on the shutter, but ok for my purposes.
