ugh. The information support on Microsoft's webstie is severely lacking. Updating the software does not seem to be possible...even when brand-new. And since we had a new tollway extension in '07, it would have been nice to have that ON the '08 S&T--or at least updatable.
I've only tried the GPS once (when in Ft. Lauderdale), and it didn't work. Would try it again, but I got a Navagon for Fathers' Day...so I don't need it.

Streets & Trips 2008 Even though it is 2008, there are roads built in 2005-2006 not in the directions. Makes for a HUGE problem.
Other than that, it works as advertised.

Its amazing This product is great. I hardly ever lose and signal when using this product. It must be used outside so its perfect when driving in a car, Have it navigate your directions for you. It even has a trip planner. Best thing about it no monthly fees!

Great Software Seems to be great software with a lot of potential. What I've used of it so far, it seems to work really well. The only problem I have is that I didn't realize what the mini pack meant and that it didn't come with a book or manual. Not that big of a deal, because having some computer experience, I'm sure I'll figure out everything that I need to know. The GPS part of it and directions are really easy to use without a book, its the extras that might take me a little longer.

Performs Well I thought I would use this alot more, but it really is kind of a pain to get out my laptop everytime I need navigation assistance. I realize this is not a problem of the software. For occasional use it's great, installed easily and was happy to see the GPS is bluetooth compatible so could potentially be used on my smartphone later. If you only want to use this ocassionaly its good, but if you will need alot of navigation I would suggest a dash model.
