Fabulous Camera!!! I've had this camera now for a little over a month, and I absolutely love it!!! It's very easy to use, and the picture quality is amazing. I have a very dark apartment and could never get satisfactory pictures taken inside before now. Even in little or no lighting the pictures come out clear and crisp. It's small and lightweight so you can literally take it anywhere in your back pocket. I would definately recommend this product to anybody who is looking for an easy solution to good quality pictu...

Pleased on all points! I bought this for my wife as our previous digital camera was old and dying. She hasn't looked back since the moment she opened the box.
We love this camera because:
1. It is so easy to carry with you! (It's the exact size of a credit card, only much thicker.)
2. The screen size is awesome. We can see our picture so much better than on the old one!
3. It turns on quickly, making for fewer missed shots.
4. You'd think the controls would be awkward at that size,...

Good snap shot camera I returned a Samsung NV10 for this Canon SD1000, mainly because I realized that I could not live without optical view finder. Among those compact PS cameras, only Canon and SONY offer the traditional viewfinder which is essential for using under bright sunshine and saving battery. Works exactly as advertised This camera performs the claimed tasks wonderfully. I bought this to replace our old Canon A40 2MP camera. Still picture quality is comparable between the two cameras, but the SD1000 is much more compact and works a lot faster.
