this thing simply could not be any better honestly, if you do any amount of homework whatsoever it becomes obvious pretty quickly that this thing has the best value of most any flat screen tv. customers, web sites and magazines all agree this thing produces one of the very best images out there...and after a week of watching it, i am certainly not going to disagree. by far the best plasma or lcd picture i've seen (which is why i bought it i guess).
anyway, i guess i'd second most any positive review that has been placed...

Interested in a 50-inch flat panel TV? Look no further! All right, I've been wanting to share my experience for a while, so here's my story:
I was interested in buying a 50-55 inch flat panel TV for my living room - nothing smaller. The viewing distance to the TV is about 10-13 feet. It was either going to be an LCD or a plasma. I researched the market for several months, reading reviews, comparing TVs at the store, etc. I finally took the plunge and decided on this Panasonic beauty. I love it and don't regret it one bit.

Not sure the Long Term Quality & Reliability is built into this TV! I would not recommend this TV...... I purchase the TV .... It has a brilliant quality picture. After a couple hours of running four very large segments on the screen went out making it un-viewable. Panasonics determined the TV needed to be repaired. After a two week wait the Technician arrived from a local TV repair center. The Tech recommended that I take the TV back and exchange it for another. He mentioned this is a common issue with Panasonic's and he has a couple in the shop wait...

Great TV, great service from Amazon, good value Have had this TV for about a week and am very pleased with it so far. Only reason I didn't give a 5 stars are problems that I understand are inherent to most or all plasmas
1. Low buzzing sound from all the power that this and other plasmas consume, not really all that noticeable though, I really have to have the volume way down and after a few days I don't really even notice it anymore, it's just more noticeable than the LCD we had.
