Skip the Europro We bought the Europro Convection toaster oven about a year ago after our Black & Decker toaster oven (under mount style for under cabinets) finally quit working after 6 years. It seemed that all the new toaster ovens use a twist button for toasting and convection seemed all the rage. Since I had little choice I went for the Europro. STILL WORKING AFTER 3 1/2 YEARS I purchased this model in May 2004 and have used it almost every day with no problems. Just recently it started to make a lot of noise, but all of the functions still work properly. I use it for toast, bagels, English muffins, French fries, baked potatoes, fish, casseroles, brownies, cookies, and anything else that will fit in it. Great job!!! I had to sadly lay this to rest the other day after 4 yrs. of heavy use. I got this great little oven at Target for $49. It never once gave me problems. The last couple of months it still actually worked great, but the fan had become so loud that I was worried it would blow at anytime. This oven did everything it was supposed to. Just awful I was continually overcooking toast even when I set it to the least possible amount of cooking time and the toast setting. I definitely do not like the wind up style of timer. I used to do just fine with our little Black and Decker but this one makes me feel like a culinary idiot.
