Excellent product
 
The product has been excellent so far. Everything connected up right from the start and I have never had a problem since. My only complaint is that I had to set up a printer first with it. I was waiting on a printer to be delivered and wanted to use the the Netgear to pick up a wireless signal elsewhere and then let some PC's connect to the Netgear for internet access but this could not be done without connecting and setting up the printer first. Works with Brother MFC 8440
 
I bought this refurb, downloaded the software from http://netgear.com and had a Brother MFC 8440 working on our wireless network on 3 laptops in about 20 min. No comp needed except for setup so this is great for us. Glad to have 4 ports as our office is downstairs and photo printing and internet connection are upstairs. Easy to use and I hope to have another printer on it for 11 x 17 soon. Recommended, but have seen on the web that it might not work with some printers

Not worth the effort
 
I have had this wireless print server for several months and it has been nothing but trouble - I'm tossing it in the garbage. I set up several cabled and wireless computers to work with it and every few days they simply stop seeing the server. Their overseas tech reps, when you can understand them, either try to blame the firewall (which I had deactivated) or the printer, which has nothing to do with the failure of my computers to even see the server. No Problems
 
Setup of the WGPS606 with a Netgear WGR614v6 router was a breeze. I am a technical guy, but I think it would be easy for anyone. For now, I set it up just as a print server at my fiancee's house and so far it is working like a charm. I plan to use it as a bridge when I move my office there, with at least 2 PCs and a VoIP phone connected through it.
