Well made, but pricey If you don't care about price, this antenna is probably one of the best out there. Rugged, with grounding points, and weatherproof. It reeks quality. Even units which show up on ebay command close to new prices.
I have 3 of them connecting three buildings about 200' apart. I used to lose signal when the rain hit. No longer. Perfect connections even in very bad weather. I've used them with ME103 and WG302 units.
You will need special antenna wire to connect from the ant...

Exceeds expectations! I have connected this ANT2409 to the primary antenna connection on my Netgear WG302 Access Point. The coverage is dramatically improved over the supplied 5dbi antenna. We can now connect either upstairs or downstairs anywhere in the house. The signal strength decreases as is to be expected as distance increases, but we don't drop connections even over periods of weeks. We have 4 wireless users. Note: get rid of the wireless phones in the 2.4Ghz band - they could cause interference. I use a 1....

Did not increase range for us Bought this and the 5 meter cable, but we did not get any measurable increase in signal strength or range over the stock antenna. Could be just our configuration. The antenna is well made and comes with heavy-duty mounting parts.

Pros: This is an engineering masterpiece, beautiful design.
Cons: I show up at our biggest client to install IP security cameras only to find that this antenna and its matching Netgear wireless AP have no connecting cable. A note in the box says this is an optional accessory. No one in a city of 600K can help me. I log in to new egg to find they don't carry it either. This was my first Netgear wi...

Mistake for me Tech Level: Ownership: This user purchased this item from Newegg.com
Comments: I wanted to do an over-kill in my home and this was not the answer. I double checked the specs but it still did not work any better than the antenna that can on the router. I ended up returning this and getting the extended-range unit specifically for my router. I suggest you do the same unless you have the equip to really handle this.
