Really Nice System I was overall impressed with this system but i will agree with most people. The amp on this stereo is no where near powerful enough for the sub or sates..I was however impressed with the crisp sound i could get out of it. It does however lack length of speaker wire still. Someone needs to slap the Logitech guys in the face and tell them to make the wires longer. Not everyone has a room the size of a closet. But in seriously it is a good system. But I would also recommend to seak other options as...

rockin system Very good system, easy to hook up. Had creative cambridge dtt3500 before, but amp started crackling/popping (5 years of service) Would have been willing to pay more for kiplish system or creative again, but the product had so many good reviews and the cost was less (and kiplish had so many bad reviews). THX certified and the old creative system was not. Much bigger amp/sub. (some of the cords could be a bit longer for proper placement of amp/sub(can cause computer cd/dvd to skip at louder volume...

Great sound! Great service! Great Buy.com! This is my second set of Logitech speakers. The first was a 4.1 and sounded great, but after about 3 years the subwoofer stopped working. Although you can get surprizingly so-so music without a sub, once you've been blasted by the Logitech boom you will never go back. Gaming, music and even movies all seem lessened. So for my birthday I got the Z-5500 and a SB Extreme and then spent a half hour remounting and calibrating speakers. The resulting audio was a feast that had my ears begging for more...

The best Number ONE !!!!!! Logitech has done it again... I had a set of creative digital gd580's that were good. This surround sound system puts them to shame. They're incredible I am not nor will I ever claim to be an audiophile, but I have heard the Bose, Harman Kardens, & other top quality speakers, these come very, very close to that kind of sound.
