The absolute BEST hub there is I had a cheap hub that wasn't cutting it, so I had lots of problems with my USB gadgets. I bought this hub because it looked heavy duty and high quality. Works great, easy to use powered USB hub I bought this hub because the two USB ports on my laptop weren't enough for all the devices I had. The three important features for me were that it was compact, inexpensive, and supported USB devices that drew power. The last feature is necessary for a surprising number of USB devices. Good, but not perfect I brought this hub when d-link offered $20 rebate. When I received it, I pluged my webcam, Wireless mouse, optical mouse, and USB 2.0 harddrive into it. ( why do I have two mouse? I like to swich hand once a while to balance out ) Everything worked fine in the beginning, but I start to encounter a critical problem after 20 minutes. Great device Love it. Plugged it in, worked perfectly and fast as heck. I have a multifunction machine, two external usb hard drives, a Treo, and a card reader plugged into this thing, and they all seem to be fast, even when using things concurrently, or copying from one to the other.
