Pretty good for the money I have owned a Magellan 700 (basically junk from a company with poor support) and an excellent Garmin 2270. On a recent trip to Italy, we rented a 1-Series BMW from Avis and took the GPS option. The GPS was a TomTom One 3rd Gen. With no instructions, we were able to function with the unit in strange environs. Maps were out of date, Italy has gone nuts putting roundabouts EVERYWHERE, but that was not debilitating. The receiver worked well, even in tunnels! Satellite link-up was quick. Really did...
