My Dream TV at last!!! First I would like to mention the delivery service with CEVA was excellent! I ordered the TV through Amazon on 4/23/2008 (Wed) and received an email for delivey scheduling which was received on 04/25/2008 (Fri) 8am. Computer Monitor Just received the TV for use as a monitor for a conference room in our building. Arrived in four business days in perfect shape and the setup was a five minute task and the image quality is much better than expected. Very user friendly and the setup prompts are intuitive. This is how HD is supposed to look! Like everyone here has said, the picture quality is fantastic. But since every good review about a TV says this, let me add by saying this is probably the best LCD on the market. Sony's XB4 might come close but given that it costs more, has less features (no USB or ethernet, less inputs), and weighs 50% more than the Samsung, the choice should be pretty clear. Wow - now that's a picture ! I hesitated buying this TV until I read that a firmware update fixed the shut-off issue. I bought mine today - hooked up a Samsung (DVD-HD860)unconverting DVD player (HDMI) and Wow. The DVD player is only a 1080i - I'm gonna get the 1080p version or wait for Blu-Ray (read below).
