Terrible Camera

I have used this camera for about two weeks daily now for work. I hate every second I spend behind this piece of junk. It will over-expose and blowout almost every photo you take unless it's not sunny outside and then you get blurry photos from the slower shutter speed. Also, don't even get me started on the terrible auto-focus system. The focus bracket is in the center of the image, but don't think that's where it will focus all of the time. ..great deal! I love coolpix!!

Great camera, big deal for a low price. I tried coolpix12 before and this nikkon series really rocks. Also I need to mention ultra fast shipping from buy.com (I choose 2 ways but get it in one).

Nikon L-18

The camera is easy to use and intuitive and takes great pictures. However, I bought the camera because it uses AA batteries. I wanted a camera that if it had a dead battery I could buy a battery any place in the world and start shooting. So far so good. THIS LITTLE CAMERA CAN KILL A SET OF NEW ALKALINE BATTERIES WITHIN MINUTES. I bought bought some lithium and rechargable batteries in the hope that battery life would be acceptable. Awesome Nikon!!!!!

I love this camera! My bf accidentally broke my old camera(Sony) and I am so happy to be a Nikon user now. I was totally missing out. The price was a steal. Only thing is I had to purchase a larger memory card. No biggie. This camera has a better shutter, settings and is anti-shake. All my pictures are crisp and clear on the huge LCD screen.
