Use as a "wireless bridge" to wireless router: didn't work well I currently own a Netgear WNR834B wireless router which is connected downstairs and wired to my desktop PC and cable modem. Upstairs I have a second desktop PC but no ethernet cable run, so I've been using a Netgear WN121T USB2.0 wireless adapter. With latest firmware upgrades this theoretically provides up to 300mbps connectivity, although I've gotten 243mbps at most per the connection wizard.
