TomTom One XL-S This is the second TomTom product GPS I have owned now and am very pleased with it as of a couple trips. I haven't updated from internet site yet and have found a couple errors that I didn't have with the TomTom Nav 5 but I'm confident those will go away when I update. As with previous TomTom there are many choices of voices, however only a coupe work for full feature of the XL-S. Some nice features, but very disappointing I am a Garmin and iPhone owner and have had the XL-S for a month. Here are my observations:
The bottom line: for my needs, dramatically inaccurate arrival times is a deal killer; the user interface screams completely uninspired effort; overall the TomTom XL-S is still pretty darn useful, but sadly demonstrates only incremental improvements over my 5-year-old GPS unit.

Easy to use, Great for the money, Tested others, bought this one I travel for work, in rural areas I dont use a GPS, not enough roads to get lost on. But last week I needed a GPS to guide me through Newark NJ and all over the state. This unit saved me more than once. I intentionally missed a few turns in New Brunswick, NJ and it got me back on track in no time.
I have more confidence in getting to my meetings on-time and without being too early when using the TOM TOM One XLS. Takes the stress out of driving in unfamiliar cities.

Tom Tom XL-S Set up was pretty easy. Tried it out the first day after only 1/2 hour reading instructions. Fairly intuitive to use. Accidentally moved the volume while driving first time and couldn't hear it. Once home I found the tutorial to learn how all the controls work. Easy. Went off course the next time to see what would happen. It figured out a new route very quickly. I'm impressed. It has all the features I need for a great price.
