Not as easy as it sounds....
I'm giving this wireless adaptor one star to also warn the buyers that not everyone is going to be able to just plug it in and have it work, especially the Mac users with earlier machines like my G4. Additionally the support from Add logix is only online and slow in response. Because I can't stay at my computer indefinitely due to family life and having to go to work, it took me days to install their wireless adaptor. A rare joy... Its rare to order something like this and have it working within 3 minutes of unboxing it... so this product was a treat for me. Under MAC OS/X 10.4 this device worked flawlessly with virtually no effort. I've read other posts that say the software isn't very nice looking or easy - but I found the look and feel acceptable and the information that it gives you excellent. If you aren't technical, ignore all the stuff in the software. If you are, there's lots of neat numbers to look at.

Works Great on iBook G3 I bought this for my iBook G3 after the airport card stopped working. Installation was easy from the provided installation disk. Do note that once you install the software, you need to restart your computer. At this point, PLUG IN the USB adapter and go to System Preferences>Network. OSX recognizes a new device being used, so you have to click "accept" after your computer recognizes the device for the thing to start working.
It works quite fast on my home network.

It works, but if you have a Mac... This item is advertised to work as well on a Mac OS X 10.3 and above as it does on a PC. Well, yeah, but not quite. It has a tendency on some machines (most likely those older G4s without built-in wifi, that most folks would buy it for) to quit working and need to be removed and replugged in, after the machine has gone into sleep mode for awhile.
There is also a problem with it not loading properly from a restart, but addLogix has a patch available for that. So far nothing to fix the...
