ROUTER NEEDED I gave this item 3 stars because it does what its supposed to do but NOT what I and most likely you want it to. You cannot connect two computers, at the same time, to the internet with this device. You need a router. Printer sharing and file sharing didnt work either. Two calls to Linksys tech support and my own personal attempt to make it work add up to strike three.. Unless you have a complicated set up, it basically does nothing.

one port defective out of the box I was very disappointed that one port was defective right out of the box. Troubleshooting this problem cost us several hours as we tried to track down cable, switch, computer and other issues at the same time. In the end we needed to leave the unit limping along with one lost port while I went to the store to get a replacement. Terrible Switch--Shame on you Linksys I have noticed the gradual decline in Linksys product quality over the last couple of years, and this switch is the absolute worst product I have seen yet. Cheap, small, easy to set up, and it does what it needs to. I got this in the mail yesterday, opened it up, connected my ethernet cables, plugged it in, and I was instantly hooked up to my internet.
