Just as it should be... Working ok since first connected, not a single issue due to straight or crossover cables, just what I was looking for, have a couple of servers hooked on it and the speed is great. I DO recommend it.

Pros: No problems. Works fine.
Cons: NetGear is refusing the mail-in rebate. Netgear claims that Newegg is an invalid purchase location even though it's not on the invalid list. Sent email to newegg customer support. 5 days later... no updates.

Pros: I really like that this uses the standard universal power plug and does not have a wall wart power adapter.
Cons: it would be nice if it had a 1000base uplink port, but i knew that this product did not have one when i bought it.

Netgear Does NOT honor Rebate Tech Level: somewhat high

Pros: Good Unit, dropped in place and worked with now difficulty
Cons: Netgear is not honoring rebates. Rejected the rebat because of Invalid Purchase Location, even though Newegg is listed on the form, and it was purchased through Neweeg, with a Newegg invoice.

Pros: transfers from my windows server 2008 system to multiple other vista computers has been amazing on this switch. I am not sure if it is the network adapters on my server or the switch, but with two 100mb adapters from the server to the switch, there is an actual transfer speed (to two computers simutaniously) of 11 or 12 mbps for each (24mbps in total!...

Fast and easy installation I purchased 2 of these as replacements for multiple 4- and 8-port switches. Installation in a 19 rack was simple. I connected all nodes 36 plugged in the switch and everything connected with no problem. It took about 30 minutes.

Great switch - works as expected. I've always been happy with Netgear quality. This product doesn't disappoint. It's a snap to setup and connect, and I immediately saw a benefit to my speed at my small office. If you want zero configuration and support for up to 24 connections, this is perfect for you. If you're using a patchwork of smaller hubs or switches at your SOHO, don't think twice about replacing them in favor of this one elegant switch.
