Very Pleased Tech Level: somewhat high

Pros: Video and audio quality is extremely good. Camera is very easy to use.
Cons: Included software for AVCHD editing crashes on my computer. Have to use EDIUS instead.
Other Thoughts: AVCHD is still pretty new, so the support isn't really there yet, but that really isn't this camera's fault.

Great camera... The Canon HG10 is a very well built camera. One of my favorite things about the camera, while it may seem pretty insignificant, is the location of the zoom and record button. Some cameras have the zoom really far forward and you have to stretch to reach the zoom which leads to some shaking. On the HG10, the location is perfect.
