My faith in plasma has been restored. It doesn't get any better than this. I've always been a fan of LCD flat panels and rear-projections but I'm glad I've taken a small leap of faith to try a technology that I've always been skeptical of (burn-in issues, pressure-sensitive buzzing). This Plasma Rocks!!! I had been waiting for the Kuro line of plasma panels to arrive, and about a month ago, the 50" 720p unit went on display at the local stores. It clearly had deeper blacks than anything else on the wall, and the screen was among the best in rejecting room reflections.

great TV but wish I wouldn't have bought from amazon! I have nothing but great thing to say about This TV!
But I figured I would warn some of you if you are thinking about buying a television on amazon.
I bought this TV about 3 weeks ago.
Shipping was about 4 days late from amazons estimated ship date.
I was supposed to get free white glove delivery with amazon but only one driver showed up so I had to get my suit dirty and help eventhough amazon promised white glove.
The box it came in was kinda beat up. So I figure...

Pioneer KURO Plasma Initially I had a problem with the two individuals who delivered the TV but after contacting Amazon, they were able to rectify the problem. I have nothing but praise for the way Amazon handled my situation. This was my second "big" order and definitely won't be the last.

WOW !!! This TV's specs are amazing. You can bet that this TV is the best available, and will be for years to come. That's pretty much said in the 2 reviews already written, so I won't dwell there.

Didn't get the item. The TV showed up broken, so I sent it back, and Amazon told me they were out of stock and would refund my money. They did. Then they asked me for a review of the product.
My rating of the imaginary TV, then, is 5 stars. It's everything I dreamed it'd be (in my dreams). I highly recommend purchasing it, since at 0 dollars, it fits into even the tightest budget.

Product was defective but Amazon gave a quick refund I bought the TV as an open box item from Amazon. It arrived in a box which looked like it had been around the world several times, and was not sealed. It was supposed to be delivered by a "white glove" crew of two people, only one showed up, so I had to help bring the TV into the house and set it up. Ultimate Picture I upgraded from a 1080i Sony LCoS XBR 60 to this unit so I could get true 1080p. I have both HD-DVD at 1080i and Blu Ray at 1080p and the picture quality diplayed by this unit is far and above that of my former Sony. The biggest difference is the deep black that you can only get from a plasma and the colors on this Pioneer are much deeper and more dramatic than even a Panasonic plasma which is a very good unit. Best Picture but bad warranty service I rated the 60" Kuros strictly on the quality of the picture. I purchased a PDP-6010 FD Kuro and a PDP-5010 FD Kuro. The quality of the picture is incredible. However, My PDP-6010 FD failed after only 9 weeks of use. Service technicians have been working on it since Mar 22, 2008 and today is Apr 4, 2008 and they still haven't fixed it. I think they are slowly rebuilding the set in my den. I had to remove the Plasma (at some expense) from my wall before the technicians would do warranty work. Bew...
