An amazing large LCD screen that's stellar when it's fed the right signals!!!! I purchased the Sharp LC52D64U via a direct promotion with Sharp USA. The deal I was offered was too good to pass up. I have never bought a large format TV in my life and always got by with a Sony CRT 27" in my bedroom running SD TV. Best 1080P 52" LCD for the Money Bought from Sharp Direct. Easy to set up. Light weight. Slim profile compared to the 62U. No banding visible during normal viewing. Be sure to use a good quality HDMI connector with gold plate. Really deep blacks. Vivid color. This TV rocks.

Beautiful TV I've had the Sharp 52" for several weeks now and we love it. Awesome picture quality, and it's REALLY big. I like the extra thin screen but was disappointed that the wall mount brackets are as thick as the TV; kinda spoils the effect. In the end we chose not to use the wall mount because of that and instead use the stand on a table.

sharp 52" aquos lcd tv if this tv were any better i don't know what it would be like. super clear definite colors and sound even is amazingly clear. so far i only have two negatives. 1. i cannot yet figure out how to get the close captioning on 2. likely not the tv but the sound blasts you when yo go from a porgram to commercials. fcc should put a stop to this but dud?
really fine tv and delivery was ahead of time and done quite properly with instructions for a two person delivery for off-loading. love it!

Great TV! Couldn't be happier with this TV. The 52" size is perfect for a viewing distance of 7ft. It completely immerses you in the picture.

Good value for your money I just have 3 weeks with the tv, and everything is how I was expected.
Great value for the price.
I did shop around in several websites and stores and this was the best alternative that I found in for 52 inches or more.
Another HD input would be great.
The format for the setup features seem little cheap for a TV of this size, however has nothing to do with functionallity, it is only a matter of looks.
No complains good tv for the price.
