Excellent media player! I've had the Archos 605 80 GB for about a month now, and have been very happy with it.
I was upgrading from the Archos Jukebox 20 Recorder (which has served me well for about 5 years now) and that's why I wanted to stay with Archos. The few times that I have used an IPOD I really have not liked it.

Great Portable Video Player This is the best portable video player on the market. Nice, but not without quirks I have owned this device for about a month now (after waiting for quite a few weeks for the backorders on Amazon to fill). Overall I am pleased with it, but I cannot say I endorse it whole-heartedly. Worthy new entry in the Archos lineup Like many others, I gave up on my Amazon order and got it directly from Archos. I've been happily playing with it for the last couple days and really quite happy. To be fair, I am upgrading from the Archos 604 Wifi so I am already pretty well familiar with Archos' little quirks and such. Great Buy I bought the Archos to replace my failure ipod touch and was very satisfied. The touch screen was better than the ipod and everything was so easy to use like the web browser. Even though you do have to spend some money buying plug-ins youl love the extra features. Also there is a lot more memory. This is probably the best on the market too because it also doesnt have problems with itunes Vista or 64-Bit.

Glorious This is by far the coolest portable video player or MP3 player I've owned, which is saying something because I always want the latest & greatest.

couldn't be happier it literally took me months to even locate one but i couldnt be happier with my archos. i ordered it from the online store and within 3 days it was in my hands. very good product the only gripe i could find with the item is that the audio would ocasionally crackle when the wi-fi was enabled. this was resolved with a simple firmware update. the carrying case is a joke considering it is supposed to protect the device. there is no place to keep the stylus although the kickstand is a great plus. as ...
