Great Surprise, Great picture After browsing TV reviews for months, I settled on this model, and am very glad I did.
I am very impressed with the picture quality on regular Cable. The internal tuner picked up on 30 to 40 digital channels already bundled into my basic cable ( I had no idea ! ), and they look just fine ( no, I do not have HD upgrade, and probably will not be getting it either ! ). Great TV This TV is just what I wanted great pic good sound movies and any thing high def are awsome good black colors and the fan noise that everyone talks about is small and of course the wait for your tv to turn on is like all high def tv's small but all in all you want a 50 inch tv for under 2000 this is a great choice shiping and all transaction went great tv was here on time and in great condition couldnt be any more pleased with the whole sale thanks

Who would buy a TV from Amazon?? Great tv. Picture quality excellent and much cheaper than LCD of same size. (As long as you dont want to hang a tv on the wall, why pay the extra. This one is quite thin anyway.) Enough inputs for me. My biggest concern was buying an item like this from Amazon. Sure, I use Amazon to buy books and other smaller items all the time, but a TV? Good product, Slow shipping The TV I bought is great! It was delivered without as much as a mark on the box. The guy who delivered it was very helpful with off loading and even unpacking. He helpded me move it into place and waited until i completed my inspection was complete.
The Picture is fantastic! The sounds is even better than I expected. I may not have to add a sound system.
Shipping was slow, took 2 extra days because of freight company scheduling. BUT. It was delivered in great shape!

You cannot go wrong with this TV I bought this TV back in November, I almost bought the upper level SXRD model but in the end I decided to stick with the cheaper version. Oh and was I ever surprised. I of course haven't been able to compare the two TVs but I just gotta say my image is nothing short of stunning. Watching movies from an HD source, or just watching HD sports is mind blowing. I just got a Wii and hooked it up via component cables and I don't think I have ever seen Wii sports look that good.

Excellent value, buy now before it's too late I recently purchased this TV on Amazon for a great price (I saved $300 over other major retailers) and I couldn't be happier. Not only is this TV priced very well, especially compared to flat panel versions, it is a great quality TV. The picture is excellent at 1080p, maybe not as good as a $5000 flat panel set (very close), but certainly not $3000-$4000 worse. Great TV This TV has a great picture, better than my Samsung 56" DLP.Stunning in cable high def,also very good pic quality on non hi def stations. Sound better than my Samsung. great value Picture quality was the biggest selling point for us. After shopping around at a few brick and mortar stores with both bright lighting and dim lighting, we decided we liked the picture on this TV the best in the up-to-$2000 range (and better than most plasmas, flat panel lcds, dlps, and sxrds they had, period). The biggest issue I have is the transition from light to dark scenes and vice-versa.
Sound is so-so. Acceptable, but not extraordinary in any way.
