Eerily simple. I bought this product to connect a TiVo in a remote part of the house, where my wireless connection was poor. Out of the box it worked effortlessly and perfectly. If you need to get ethernet into a remote part of your house -- I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these in a heartbeat. Super easy, fast connection & works with no downtime. Seems too good to be true, but it is.

Awesome if on the same electrical circuit This twin-pack works flawlessly when I have both units plugged into outlets that are on the same circuit. When I plug them into different outlets throughout the house, so that they have to "talk" across circuit breakers, their is still network connectivity, but my streaming video stutters during playback. Lettle Gems I had the D-Links but one died. Returned RMA and I got a refurbed set. After a month one died. I had a friend, one of his died after a month. Ever Since I got these Actiontecs I've had no problems. They work great for a great price. I will buy another set for the rest of my computers.

Works, once you know how to set it up I spent around 2 hours trying to set this up, troubleshooting what could be causing the problem. Even with both connected to the same outlet, they both "linked", but I couldn't actually bridge any data across them.

True Plug N' Play! For technical, especially network devices, this is an amazing gadget: It works the first time you plug it in! Having unsuccessfully tried another powerline network adapter before I was a little skeptical when I ordered Actiontec Ethernet adapters but was dumbfounded when I plugged in my notebook computer to it and wow! It was connected to the network!
Took me a few seconds to believe that it is so simple to setup and use. Astonishingly, that is all there is to these Actiontec adapters...

Great product - easy installation I took me more time to unpack the items from the box (professionally done) then it took me to hook it up. Nothing better when buying technical products when you can plug it in and it works the first time. It's a much better solution than strining cords across my daughter's play area. I'm personlly using it for my Slingbox, which did NOT hook up the first time through.
