The usual faults The phone works - no problem there. But...
The wall-mount option is a kludge. Instead of fitting flat against the wall, the phone sticks out (in exactly the same orientation as pictured). Not especially great for the under-cabinet location in the kitchen.
The numbers in the display are too small. You want to be able to read the number of an incoming call at a glance, and this display is too small.

wonderful cordless, many nice features EXTREMELY easy to set up and easy to use. You can program it to have different ringtones for family and friends so you know who's calling before you look at the caller ID. Nice compact base. Overall, one of the best cordless phones I have ever owned.

Best of the 3 others I have tried. Effective range from base station is about the same as the second best phone that this replaced, but this unit has a better quality sound/signal.
This unit was recommended to me by a friend who was in tern advised by a salesperson at a electronics superstore. The best news is that when a telephone repairman was called to fix a wiring problem he said that this was the phone that when people asked him for a recommendation , this is the phone he knows to give the best trouble free service.

Ultimate cordless phone I purchased this cordless phone in March 2007 after being unable to find it at local retailers (or on their web sites). The design and features are superb. It's smaller than Panasonic's prior versions, with no antenna nub. Key features are: good battery life (NiMH), built-in speaker phone, and headphone jack. Great voice quality (thanks for other reviewers' comments). It was worth a few bucks more than some other widely available brands.

Many features for a basic phone I have been fully satisfied with this phone, which replaced one blown out by a lightning strike. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it has a speaker-phone option. Charges quickly, battery holds charge longer than old phone. Easy to use and comfortable handset. Excellent value for the price.

Exactly what I wanted I'm not a big "features" guy so this phone was perfect. It's very simple and gives clear reception from almost any distance.

Great basic phone It's hard to find a phone that is just a phone. I got this for my in laws (over 65) and they love the simple basic function and the quality of sound.

Good phone, no belt-clip The phone works great, and looks cool. The only problem is that it doesn't have a belt clip that you can put on the phone to make it easier to use with a headset. Pretty big issue for use in my home, but I can see why they didn't do it; the phone sits on the cradle face up and the belt clip would probably keep it from recharging.
But maybe if they could have designed the cradle a bit differently, it might have all worked.

Very poor quality overall... This is a really terrible phone with poor build quality and very bad sound quality. I've owned Panasonic phones before, and this one is a major step backwards for the company. Not only was the noise level in the receiver very high, but clients also complained they had trouble hearing me. The so called "Voice Enhancer" actually makes the sound worse in that it seems to amplify and distort the already poor sound quality. Design also suffers due the way the phone sits in the cradle, there's no way ...
