Pros: It IS a Plextor and not a rebadge/reman model. Works very well, door closing, build weight, burn noise volume, speed, and burn quality.
Cons: not this one.
Other Thoughts: Manufacturer's product quality fluctuates... Right now, I would only use a true Plextor, an LG, or Samsung media drive on the odds of get...

Pros: The very best CD burner on the market. I burn CD's in less 5 minutes using I-Tunes. I had originally had a Plextor CD-RW and liked it. I then went to another top name brand and bought 2 because they were on sale. Had trouble with burning disks. Took over 30 minutes each time. Will stay with Plextor from now on.

Pros: Works great.It's a LiteOn! Like it or not.
Cons: Sorry Admin-Man you got a LiteOn at a Plextor price.
Other Thoughts: I have aPlexwriter Premium,and this drive is nothing like it.LiteOn makes good products,as well LG.
