Good protection, a little work to get on and off... This is a good case overall, the clickdial is exposed but there is a plastic overlay to go over the screen and it's not clear as glass, but very good.
The only problem with this type of case is that you have to take it off to insert it into many of the external speaker systems like the MM50 or Bose Sounddock. However it is easier to take off than the silicone case I had on my 20GB ipod that opened from the bottom.

Good Buy But Some Problems I purchased the toughskin about 3 months ago and it helped keep my ipod in basically A+ shape. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is even though it is durable, not everything on it is built to last. The belt clip is cheaply made and through wear and tear eventually begins to crack. Good enough. For a while. Background: I have owned my 30 Gigabyte iPod and Speck Toughskin case for almost six months now. I have primarily used my iPod while traveling through Europe last fall (2006). Now I generally carry my iPod with me to school and work. During this time I have generally had the Toughskin on my iPod unless I wish to use it in my car with the adapter I also purchased.

Good case, but don't remove it. This case with its nubby rubber corners does a good job of protecting the iPod but it has a few downsides, some significant, some not so much.
First, it is a struggle to get this into the case. You have to wiggle it in through the screen window and keep pushing it down like you're packing a suitcase. Then you must insert the clear plastic window protector to cover the screen.

Good Protection I've lived with this product for about two weeks now. So far, I'm very happy. It is a tough, thick silicone case that should provide good protection against bumps and accidental drops. It's much easier to put on than other silicone cases I've had. I haven't used the belt clip yet, so I can't comment on that. The only downside is the plastic screen protector--it scratches easily. Good case, didn't like the belt clip I've been using the Speck ToughSkin for over a year on my iPod Video 30GB (5G). It seems to have done a good job protecting my iPod, but then I haven't had any major drops.
The skin to begin with was actually opaque and not "clear". Over a year, it's gotten slightly yellow and grungy-looking, but not yet gross enough for me to want to replace the case.

Tuf Enuf A little difficult to put on the iPod but it appears to protect it from harm. I would have liked to have something to cover the wheel so it doesn't get dirty. It does cover the screen.

Yellowed and saggy after a few months. Looked great out of the box, but after a few months, I've just had to dump it. The screen cover was sliding all over the place, letting all sorts of grime in and resulting in scratches. The plastic used to be clear but turned a nasty icky yellow on the corners - it's not just dirty, as I've washed it thoroughly; it's the plastic itself that changed colors.

Tough Skin So here's the deal:
Pro's : it protects my ipod from just about everything. Not a scratch on my ipod and that's the way I like it. It's durable and does what it's supposed to.
Con's : the screen cover is ill fitting and gets scratched very easily. Also, does make a sleek ipod too bulky to put in your pocket. Belt clip is flimsy for the size as well.
Overall, 4 out of 5 starts for the above con's.
