great purchase We have had this for several weeks and use it at least a couple of hours a day. I have nothing but praise for this set - great picture (we use rabbit ears), great size and very easy DVD player. Both analog and digital. This set is better than the 1500.00 37" Toshiba that we also have.

Does The Job I Bought It For I bought this TV/DVD for the convenience of the small size, and DVD Player. I have purchased Toshiba TV's for the past 10 years, and have never been disappointed. The picture is excellent when using the DVD Player. I have not tried the cable reception as of yet, but have heard it is fine as well, although not the quality of the DVD Picture. For the price and convenience, this is a good buy.

Nice...... It was a struggle between rating this a 4 or 5. Wish there was a 4.5. First of all I'd like to say that Amazon's free shipping made this HDTV a great deal and made my mind up to buy from them (along with their outstanding customer oriented support after the sale if there are problems). I've bought from Amazon many items and a few went wrong but Amazon always corrected the issue to my satisfaction..

Awesome TV fits in small space. I got the Toshiba 15DLV77 and love it. I brought it home and had it going almost as fast as I could get it out of the box. Super light weight. Its picture is sharp and there are lots of controls over the image, but it's fine just the way it is as far as I'm concerned.
I wanted something to replace my 20 year old CRT model and wanted all the bells and whistles in the connectivity department to use with my DV camcorder. This model is new and should keep me going with my Audio Visual ...

A great kitchen TV, with great expandability .... I've been looking for this type of TV to replace a Sony 9" CRT we've been using in the kitchen for many years. My wife wanted more counter space. This fills the bill quite well. Many sets this size have speakers on the side, which take up horizontal space. We prefer the layout on this set. It arrived in a box that showed what was inside, so if this is to be a surprise for someone, they'll know what it is the minute it arrives.

Poor volume I bought this TV/DVD from the internet and picked it up in the store. When I got it home, I found that at maximum volume, the sound was still too low to hear at 5ft away. I took the unit back, and listened to the floor model which also had the same issue. Comperable units next to the demo had plenty of volume. I ended up returning the unit since the volume problem seems to be an issue with all units of this model.

Low volume My folks bought this for their cabin. Nice compact TV with decent picture from an analog antennae. Acceptible sound with broadcast TV. BUT sound while playing a DVD was so low that we had to crowd within 6 feet to hear it at max volume! Tried other DVDs with same result. Returned it and got the 19" model. Consider your distance Lots of good, detailed, accurate reviews here! (It's why I bought this, actually.) The only thing I will add might seem pretty obvious to a lot of people, but I think I'll mention it anyway. Don't get this 15" screen size if you're going to be sitting, oh, more than 10 or 12 feet away. I bought it for my bedroom, and I have trouble seeing (and hearing) most shows when I'm sitting up in bed, about 14 feet away. GOOD FOR THE MONEY BUT...... FIRST OF ALL, THE POSITIVES. VERY EASY TO SET UP....HAD IT WORKING WITHIN 5 MINUTES AFTER UNPACKING IT. THE PICTURE IS CLEAR AND CRISP, AND THE UNIT CAN BE MOVED ANYWHERE WITH EASE. MOST OF MY RESERVATIONS ARE ABOUT THE DVD PLAYER. THE SOUND SEEMS TO BE FAR TOO LOW FOR ME, EVEN AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS. Great Multi-Functional TV We ordered this TV and it was here in 2 days!! Great sound and picture.
The TV is for my son's nursery and fits perfectly in the small space that it was intended for.
My favorite thing about this TV is that it also plays CD's and you can set it to repeat over and over! I am sure my son will love this TV when he gets old enough to appreciate it. I know I already do!
