Pros: Works with XP and Linux out of the box.....no drivers needed. Breathed new life into my old screenless laptop I am using as a server that has native USB 1.1. File transfer speeds to the external USB Seagate went up exponentially. Reasonable price.

Pros: Has input for external power supply SYBA model SD-AC-5V, an essential accessory to power heavy drain USB devices. VIA Chip set seems to work better than a similar card with NEC chipset I had for 2 years that FAILED. NO USB power exceeded warnings with this, VERY reliable so far. Pros: Works
Cons: will not run a USB mouse and jump drive at the same time won't run jump drive at all. bought for a Insprion 1150 that USB had failed on not sure if problem is the card or PC Mfg. states PC supplies 3V to card and it has a stepup transformer to provide limited 5V.
