Terrific little printer I love this printer! I had a big Lexmark Optra S1855, but it was literally too big for my office, so I got rid of it. Replaced it with the Brother 5250dn. I was pretty satisfied with that, but there were a few annoyances, like how the Brother would always pull a sheet back in to duplex even if there were no second page (duh). Pros: The Lexmark E450dn is a great printer. It is replacing my 10+ year old HPLJ4 which has been terrific with over 100,000 prints. I looked at the current lineup of HP and Lexmark MonoLasers and went with the Lexmark. Installation was a breeze (networked) though it does offer Centronics/USB support as well. Great Printer for home office This is a great printer. Setting it up as network printer is very easy, it is fast and supports duplex. Nothing to complain. It arrived in two days from buy.com, very impressive.

Fantastic printer and value. This printer has exceeded my expectations. It is very fast at printing, including the first page from it's sleep mode. I had tried the highly rated Brother 5250dn prior to the Lexmark 450dn. The Brother printer install was a problem and the machine malfunctioned. I returned the Brother and purchased the Lexmark 450dn. The install was a breeze, and I amazed at the speed and it's print quality. This is a very well designed printer. What a deal ! I use my printer in bursts so it sits unused for months sometimes until I need to print out a hundred pages.I tried ink jets in the past but they all get nozzle clogging because of my infrequent use. So I bit the bullet and decided to go for a laser,in this case a model I will grow into. Pros: This printer is so much faster than the HP I was using. Purchased it as a backup - BUT the HP is now the backup ONLY if I must use it! With 1/2 the memory it is 4 times faster! Small Compact size, clean crisp pages, FAST PDF Printing! Just what I needed!
Cons: I took way to long to order!
