Pros: Fit perfectly into the slot of the Toshiba Satellite 1415-S173. Works the way it's supposed to. Didn't have to swap faceplates.
Cons: Wasn't seen in BIOS, had to flash different firmware for it to work in the system.(CSEL High)

Pros: works great easy to install not much to it at all just take out old one and install new one and it runs fine.

Cons: seems a little slow on cd burning, but i think its mostly I only have 512 mem...but nothing to complain about at all
