Kingston Memory for Lenovo Thinkpad T61p Before placing the order at Buy.com, I used the Memory Configurator on Kingston.com website and found the right memory for my new Thinkpad T61p. Then, used the Pricegrabber to find the lowest price. Buy.com offered a price thats lower than the lowest on pricegrabber.com from one of the merchants. Well, memory installation was a breeze (you have a Video MIGR-67761 on lenovo.com)..The system / BIOS recognized the RAM memory immediately and I could see 3 Gig out of 4 GB installed. Excellent RAM for a T61P Tech Level: high
Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
Pros: Excellent compatibility and speed. Vista really shines with 4gb's (3GB usable due to 32 bit OS)This installed in a snap and worked flawlessly from day 1
Cons: A bit pricy when compared to other brands. But when you have invested almost 3grand in a desktop replacement, well a bit more is not too much I think

Pros: This stick of ram helped boost the speed on my thinkpad noticeably and it was an easy install because as soon as I plugged it in it worked.

Other Thoughts: I bought this with a one gig stick also and they work great together.

Awesome for T61 Tech Level: high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Great price, easy to install, works flawlessly, made by Kingston. AMAZING with Vista.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Cheaper alternative to buying RAM with your T61 from Lenovo. I remember the day my ThinkPad arrived, and the first thing I did was tear it apart to put in this RAM.

Thinkpad T61 Tech Level: high

Pros: Works with Thinkpad T61. No compatibility issues at all. Just opened the case, inserted the RAM, rebooted and it worked! I went from 1GB to 3GB and the difference is HUGE. I opened almost every program on my laptop simultaneously and it worked like a charm. However, I have Windows XP and so far I have yet to actually use more than 2GB of the RAM.
