Great Backup Device Tech Level: high
Ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: I love the Sonicwall CDP Backup Devices. I have installed 4 of these and they are a breeze to setup and I have not had a backup fail in over a year. I've recovered data from them at least 10 times and it is so much easier than tape backup recoveries that I'm amazed each time. I have a couple backing up SQL databases and they do great on that also.

Careful!! Tech Level: high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Nice concept, easy to configure
Cons: Acquired one of these for an engineering firm we support. Come to find out that with 10-15 engineers working in Autocad all day long the device begins to take their network to a crawl and locks up the AutoCAD applications. Also tried this in two other environments running apps where the files change a lot through the course of the day and had the same...
