Worked After Some Tweaks (Brother HL-5150D printer) The print server hardware worked fine, but the setup software
caused a few problems as a result of oversimplication.

After trial and error, works with Vista I bought this to connect my Canon MP760 to my two notebook computers, one running XP and the other Vista. Great biscuit sized server This neat little biscuit sized Server is a great solution for multiple PCs networked at home. We are using it on both Windows and Linux PCs. Setup on Linux was a piece of cake and worked straight away. Setup on Windows was also easy and only complicated by the Firewall software. After some on line searching found that the Spooler Subsystem requires server access in the trusted network.You will most likely need the software loaded on Windows (we did) to allow the Print Server to be discovered.

Simple to use, configure and forget. When my printer died recently I found myself searching for a new solution instead of just a replacement. Great for the money Just installed this yesterday on my Epson RX595 printer. I had some trouble adding printers over the network after the initial install but it all works great now. Here are some tips: Install your printer software first. Install the print server software on a XP machine and set a static address on it (somewhere within the range of your router DHCP addresses). Good inexpensive print server for home network I use this device with my Canon IP5000 printer connected to my Linksys WRT54GC wireless router. Using the web interface, I was able to setup the printer in less than five minute. I did have to pre-install the Canon driver on my laptop. I can print photos, color web pages, and documents at almost the same speed as if the printer were directly connected to my PC or laptop.
