Pros: This unit replaced our seven year old HP switch and it works excellent out of the box. Very quiet, minimal but useful management options, gigabit ports, and lifetime-next day replacement warranty.

Fast, cheap & reliable; who says you can't have it all? Tech Level: high

Pros: Been running this in a server lab for 5+ months now, -zero- issues. Noticably faster than 3 year old Cisco 2900 series. Believe this is due to backplane throughput. Cisco's have more config options, but unless you really need something Cisco specifc, the cost and effort of configuring/maintaining Cisco switches isn't worth it, imo. Highly recomme...
