Back up for School I bought this for my daughter who is a senior in college because she needed something to back up her school work and music files of course. She loves it. Fast, eay to use and small.

Nice unit but keep good backups! I paid a premium for the small size but it was worth it. I used to have my personal stuff spread out over a bunch of computers now I keep it in my pocket. I've had this for 7 months and have carried it around with me nearly every day. It has operated flawlessly the entire time. This little beauty has treated me very well.
Update: died after a year. But I treated it pretty roughly - carried it around with me every day.

Nice Alternative to Flash Storage A nice (and economical) alternative to flash memory, especially if you need more than 8GB. This USB-powered drive works fine on both my Dell and IBM Thinkpad Laptops. Both XP and Vista recognize and install drivers for this device without any trouble. Also, I've noticed that this drive seems to write data at a rate about 3 times faster than my USB-2 flash drive (copied 50MB in photos in 4 seconds; the flash drive took about 13 seconds).
