Pros: Sturdy construction and has good versitility. The unit is compatible with both Windows and Mac. The mac needs no drivers either.

Other Thoughts: We have a mac and pc's at our home. One of the pc's and mac share the unit. We look for add-on devices such as this that can be used for both.

Pros: Looks very sleek and modern. Reads all my SD cards with no problem. I have a Patriot 16gig class 6 SD card and during long transfers, it holds up unlike cheap card readers. Pros: High quality, well built flash card reader. Sturdy mettle case. Classy good looks. Works very well with my 4G SD card. No drivers required - true plug & play with Windows XP. Cons: Big for a card reader.
Other Thoughts: This card reader would make a great case for a nano-ITX or pico-ITX motherboard. Just take the innards out, cut out holes for the ports on the motherboard, add a power and reset button and you're all set.

Works and Fits Under My iMac Tech Level: somewhat high

Pros: It works with iMac and fits neatly under the iMac 24in. No need to install software. Called G5 and designed to look like the Apple G3. I am an ex-Microsoft chap and this device allows me to by pass Apple's iPhoto.
