Not for x64 Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Looks good. Comes in a high quality box.
Cons: Incompatible with x64 operating systems. Atech's tech support claims there is "no demand" for x64 drivers. Save yourself the restocking fee if you use Vista x64.
Other Thoughts: The product assembly was sloppy to say the least. An internal plastic card guide was ...

. Tech Level: average Ownership: 1 month to 1 year This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Sturdy construction and has good versitility. The unit is compatible with both Windows and Mac. The mac needs no drivers either.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: We have a mac and pc's at our home. One of the pc's and mac share the unit. We look for add-on devices such as this that can be used for both.

Great Card Reader Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Looks very sleek and modern. Reads all my SD cards with no problem. I have a Patriot 16gig class 6 SD card and during long transfers, it holds up unlike cheap card readers. It has some weight to it and rubber pads on the bottom so you don't have to hold the card reader to insert cards. I have not had one single problem with this unit yet. It even l...

Nicely Done Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: My Sandisk reader died after two years of regular use. I figured I would just buy another Sandisk until I saw this G5. The case is well made and the connectors are strong. Speed is faster than my Sandisk to my surprise. Even though I am using this on Windows it is nice to have products that have the quality look-and-feel of Apple products. Even the box it comes...

Top Of The Line Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
Pros: High quality, well built flash card reader. Sturdy mettle case. Classy good looks. Works very well with my 4G SD card. No drivers required - true plug & play with Windows XP. It comes with software that changes the 4 drive letter icons to looks like the type of media each slot. I choose not to install it.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Kinda spendy, but its hig...

Would make a great case. Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
Pros: Looks good. Works well.
Cons: Big for a card reader.
Other Thoughts: This card reader would make a great case for a nano-ITX or pico-ITX motherboard. Just take the innards out, cut out holes for the ports on the motherboard, add a power and reset button and you're all set.

Decent all in one, but too big. Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Excellent firmware upgradeable reader/writer. I primarily use CF, xD, and SD/SDHC (Olympus and FujiFilm cameras). I don't use anything that would take an MS card.
Cons: Kinda large, not portable... you can't throw this in your camera or accessory bag. Seems to work ok with my DMA compact flash cards, but a dedicated...

The best card reader I've ever owned Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Easy to use. Reads cards other readers won't. The only one I've found to read my cell phone card "correctly"
Cons: A little big but not a problem for me.
Other Thoughts: I have owned several multi card readers over the years and none of them would properly read my Motorola cell phone card. They would al...

Works and Fits Under My iMac Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: It works with iMac and fits neatly under the iMac 24in. No need to install software. Called G5 and designed to look like the Apple G3. I am an ex-Microsoft chap and this device allows me to by pass Apple's iPhoto.
Cons: Slightly too tall. Pay for packaging and looks as there are other devises with more for less out there.
