Awsome Product Works great. I have a friend in Italy that uses more than I do, they said the picture looks great with a 256kbs download speed. The setup is a little hard if you are running it through a router. You have to know how to configure the ports for it to work properly. Finally a product which works as advertised! Both the hardware and software is excellent! Pros: Easy setup, Great Audio/Video, Custom Streaming, Favorites, Remote works great. Cons (reasons for 4 star overall satisfaction): Works with one device on one computer at a time, No recording capability, No built-in wireless networking support. Installed with Netgear XE104G (85mbps wall-plugged powerline ethernet switches) and have no streaming problems.

Awesome Product I originally bought the Sling Box for my laptop. The wife won't allow me to put a tv in the bedroom. So I did one better and put the tv on my pc. I have it running through a home wireless network and the picture quality is excellent. I even catch her watching it!!! Our recent trip to AZ put it through the test on a high speed connection. I got to keep up on our local news without a glitch!!! I love my Sling Box and would not trade it for anything!!!

Slingbox AV Pretty Slick The Slingbox is easy to set up and produces good results. The hitch is that it's not good if you have a slow internet connection. A lot of hotels have poor connections, so I'm not always able to get a usable picture. With a good connection, it works very well. The remote control simulator is cool, and makes the viewing experience very similar to watching my own TV. Some of the printed instructions are out of date with what's on the installation CD, but this didn't cause any problems with set-up.

Technological Marvel I love the Slingbox! While I'm a relatively old fart, I enjoy introducing my children to new technology. The Slingbox is a great product ! I got the Slingbox for Christmas the software installed in about 10 minuits. It connected to the sling box in a few seconds and the process to get the Slingbox to the internet took about 3 minuits. I am watching tv on my laptop right now on the sidebar mode of the slingplayer. I would recomend this product to anyone who enjoys TV

Great Device I originally bought this because I only had one DirecTV box in my apartment and wanted to watch TV in another room. Now I can watch TV in other rooms as well as at work (don't tell the boss!). The setup was very easy as far as watching TV on my home network. It really does work I cannot tell you how skeptical I was about this product, but I'm telling you. It works, and it works great.
