Pros: Faster than expected, simple, I pluged them in and they recognized each other and were fully operational. No loss of speed, connection or signal strength ever. Network connectivity and internet at every outlet in my house.

Pros: Nice solid connection, high throughput-- Tested with another computer on the network and it maxed the line with no issues. I had it setup and working within minutes. Works very well for gaming.

Nice alternative to running wires or wireless Tech Level: somewhat high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Simple to setup. Faster than Wireless-G. Excellent alternative to running wire, which was not an option in my case.
Cons: Supposively doesn't work through a surge protector(did not test this however)
Other Thoughts: I was concerned this unit may not work in an older house with older electrical, but it ended up just fine.

Simple to set up, no problems encountered It couldn't be easier to set up. The operation has been flawless and solid. Performance is OK, not really an issue because most of the traffic is going through a 1.5Mbps DSL line. The led indicators did not function as noted on the directions at first, but then acted normally after a power cycle on one of the units. Great Wired Local Network The ZyXEL allows setting up a hard wired local network inside with no extra wiring. Just plug an adapter into each computer with one adapter connected to house wiring. Wow...life is never this easy! I bought the PL-100 Kit to hook my DirecTV HR20-700 to the internet. I wasn't familiar with the technology...but I plugged it in (on two separate circuits) and the results were instant and beyond expectation! Very easy to use.
