Great phone but perhaps not for the novice
I have owned my WIP330 for about six months now and I am very happy with it despite the quirks and problems it can raise.
Most people, just enter their local network login details, SIP details from their VOIP providers, switch it on and it just works. You may be one of those people.

A terrbile execution of what should be a stellar product. I have purchased two different batches of these phones, 20 in all. I have used them with 3 different VoIP providers (Telasip, AxVoice and ThinkBright) as well as two different internal VoIP systems (Asterisk and a router with SIP server built in). No support I JUST BOUGHT THE PHONE, AND SOME OPTIONS ARE MISSING IN IT. TRY TO CONTACT LINKSYS SUPPORT IS IMPOSSIBLE. AFTER DAYS WAITING I GOT THE EMAIL FROM THEN TELLING ME THAT I HAVE TO RETURN THE PHONE TO THE SELLER.

never buy this device I have bought two WIP330 recently (not on amazon). This device is an unfinished product full of bugs and holes. I am unable to use it normally. Even updating to latest firmware did't fix anything, all noticable bugs still present from the huge bunch of bugs.
In details:
Can't normally send DTMF signals
Restarts time to time
Battary's low very very shortly
Sometimes display stays illuminated after being idle

Cons: Larger than it could be, no stand for charging, screen resolution too small for browsing, since screen cannot be used for browsing it is a waste of battery life, CANNOT CHANGE DIAL PLAN.

Good Product This phone works like a charm. Once you figure out which settings you need to set on it based on your VOIP provider, it works great. Just make sure you have a solid connection to your wifi source. Broadvoice provides good support of how to program the phone. I've had it for about a month now and I'm so glad I do have it. Replacement batteries? One thing I've learned to watch out for with Linksys is the batteries
they use in such units. I can not find a part number for the
battery used by the WIP330 in any of their literature,
and there is not a battery product listed on Linksys's own web site. If this turns
out to be like the DPH540 before it, Linksys actually intends for you to
throw the unit away when the battery stops taking a charge.

Great concept, a couple of issues I've been running an asterisk server in my home for years, allowing free SIP and IAX access to family around the world. I've always been looking for a Wi-fi device, and took the plunge on this phone.
I was happy with the device's size and interface. The embedded web browser makes it useful to get onto free wifi networks requiring "click to accept" registration, such as in many airports. The build quality felt pretty decent, too.

Pros: It's the only wireless VOIP phone with a browser. This is important for places like hotels that require you go to their webpage to activate the internet service.
Cons: Very poor battery life, the browser is clumsy to use, the phone will occasionally lock up or act up and need a reboot. It's too big overall, it will only autoconnect to a previously used connection, and a lot more...
