GPS BEST thing I have ever bought in my life, I once got lost and found myself in the next state (4hrs away) Not with this baby. I am going to buy a newer model soon. Customer service is lacking. But atleast you talk to a person. That's more than I can say for a lot of companies now a days.

Beware polarized sunglasses This is a great value for a basic unit. I bought this as a back-up GPS for traveling. It works well with a moderately larger form factor than the newer Nuvi units but once it is attached to the windshield, the depth doesn't matter. One word of caution, the screen cannot be read when wearing polarized sunglasses. This does not happen with my three other GPS units including newer Garmins and car nav system.

reliable device this device provides excellent maps and accurate guidance. The reason I dock 4 star is that the calculation is not so fast, especially when i turn on it and the initial calculation usually take a little bit time.

Serevice for Garmin products I bought a C330 Garmin that had been refurbished and on arrival it would not accept a charge so I contacted the service department. The service technician was super nice and thorough with the problem asking me to try things and if it did not correct the problem giving me an address and authorization to return the item to Garmin. It corrected the problem and I am happy with both Garmin and Amazon. A good product at a good price plus good service.

Much better that the Nuvi Had this one for two years. Perfect operation. Calibrates quick when you turn it on. Skip the smaller fancier Nuvi models. They suck. You will spend more time waiting for it to calibrate than driving.

nice unit for short money I already had one of these for myself and bought another for a gift. Its simple to use - although it has led me down some dead-end streets, but I'm guessing that is a function of the satellite network. It has Good tonal quality on the audio. I'm sure there are better units out there, but this one is all I need and I like it.

OK for a quick cheap GPS with basic features I received my C330 Garmin GPS about a week ago. At first I was annoyed that there was no printed manual and I had to read it and/or print it from the online version. The next thing that bothered me was that the enclosed CD is not Mac-compatible. I was able to deal with this by using Mac Parallels to run Windows on my Intel-based Mac. Unfortunately it would not let me install the USB drivers. Great, but Old Map Data I knew I was buying a factory refurbished product, but I assumed the map data was current. Wrong! It's about 2 years out-of-date. You'll have to go to Garmin and buy the current year data. Otherwise, the Garmin does what it claims. Good overall value.

A little disappointed I must admit, I was at best a little disappointed in this system. I had bought it for a trip down to southern CA which I am only vaugely familiar with. The unit seems to want to always take me the furthest distance to my destinations, at one point I had to pull over and restart it because coming out of a driveway it would not advise me on which way to turn. Simple to use and precise. I was impressed by the easy to use touch screen and controls. Programming locations into favorits was simple. Entering destinations was easy as well as logical. When operating, the screen display is just the right size and has a very self explanatory map view with arrows and precise street names and map coordinates. Surprisingly user friendly I admit to having a terrible sense of directions. If I don't have the route to somewhere memorized or have highly detailed written directions, I tend to get lost. This tendency is pronounced enough that most of my friends and family are well aware of it. Very user friendly After owning one of these for over 6 months, I think it's great. Not only is it EXTREMLY user friendly and self explanatory, it also nice being able to choose a decent restaurant when your in an unfamiliar area.
Only thing I didn't like was the detour function. Doesn't seem to be very helpful at suggesting alternate routes when you encounter a detour.

Good Basic GPS I wanted a no-frills basic GPS, one that I could hand to someone and have them understand how to use it in less than 2 minutes. This one does just that. And am happy with the refurbished aspect, could not tell that it was "used".

A great GPS value I recieved this GPS and right out of the I started to use it without even reading the instructions. For the money this unit cannot be beat,i have used it several times and it performed beautifully. Don't be afraid to buy this GPS even if it is refurbished, mine look and worked just like new.

Good Value I bought the Garmin StreetPilot C330 for a business trip to Chicago. I spent a week driving all over the Chicago area and making multiple stops in small towns and this unit worked perfectly! Once i figured out how to enter the address correctly it saved me more time then I care to admit. I won't go on the road without it again.

Better than advertised Even though a refurbished product, this item was like new and came with all required accessories. It arrived in just a few days and was very easy to set up and use. Love it! Should have bought one of these things long ago! I'm not one to read the directions first, and that tends to get me into trouble down the line. However, with the Garmin c330, it was not a problem. I took it out of the box, punched in an address, and took off for Covington, KY. I'd still probably be driving around Cincinnati, OH if I didn't have the GPS!

The worst customer service ever! I got the c330 model in November, 2007. It had been nice until April, 2008. All of a sudden, it began not to be recharged and keeps popping up "LOW BATTERY" message.
I contacted the customer service center by email and they replied me three days later to test if it works with an USB cable. But it wasn't recharged and I let them know.
