Works as expected. I was looking for a cheap video card that would let my girlfriend play World of Warcraft on her 6 year old 1.6GHz P4. Knowing that I'll be building her a new computer soon, I just wanted to get the job done. This card fits the bill. Without any in-game tuning (using the video setting defaults) she is able to play without too much interuption or skipping. (When she gets in a city it gets pretty bad though.) The card worked right out of the box. Windows XP SP2 didn't have native drivers, and...

Pipes not unlockable Tech Level: high Ownership: less than 1 day This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: small, somewhat overclockable, makes my small form-factor dell at my office think it's a gaming machine
Cons: not pipe-expandable like some other 6200 cards (more fyi, than con...)
Other Thoughts: Note that this card uses the 44 chipset and not the 43, making it the "TurboCache" model. Some 6200 card...

XFX GeForce 6200 256MB DDR2 TV DVI I got the agp type XFX GeForce 6200 256MB DDR2 TV DVI video card and this thing is awsome. It brings your graphics to life. No slow downs, flicker or trouble of any kind. I've had other video cards before but this thing kicks all their butts. The price was very good (only around $60.00) and I've heard that it is actually better than cards 3 or 4 times the price and I believe it. I would highly recommend it! I needed agp for my needs at the time and it works great but it also comes availabl...

XFX GeForce 6200 256MB Video Card I bought this card so I could run dual monitors, I have an older 21" CRT and just bought a new Hanns G 22" TFT (I Love it, reviewed seperatly). I was a little concerned because there was another reviewer that mentioned something about power requirements and I couldn't find any information about it online. In fine print on the box it mentions a minimum 250W power supply if you have "a number of other internal devices installed" I installed it on a Dell Dimension 8250 and it was super easy, I d...

Perfect cheap upgrade!!! Tech Level: average Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Cheap!!! 256MB Ram GeForce 6x series Worked in my 5 year old Dell Dimension 8100 without a hitch
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I bought this to simply extend the life of my 8100 for another year while I watch the Core Duo/Quad procs, SLI video cards, SLI mobos, and Memory prices come down. This...

Cheap & Decent Performance It runs Sims 2 just fine at 1024 x 768 with all the graphical options turned up. I don't ask much more of this since it's not my performance machine. A great value to give your older AGP based machine some more pep.
If you REALLY want to push your AGP machine wait for an nVidia 8000 series card. They're making an AGP one!

Absolutely amazing card for the price! OK, first of all, this is not the latest and greatest card on the market. If that's what you are looking for, this is probably not the right card for you. But if you are looking to upgrade your older AGP compatible mainboard with some extra accelerated video memory, this card is simply amazing.
At first, I was thrown off by the low price, I wondered how well the card would work. But the Amazon reviews swayed me (along with a rebate) and I purchased the card. Everything about this...

Great graphics card I wanted to play Doom 3 on my computer, however, it was choppy (at the lowest settings) with the 64 MB GeForce 550Mx that came with the computer. So I looked around and saw this card. This card plays Doom 3 easily at High (800x600), no playing with overclocking or anything. So I'm quite happy with it's performance even when I probably could get more out of this card.
Installation of the card was relatively simple. Took the normal 30 minutes from start to finish. It may of been si...
