IO Micro-SD Reader Writer This is one of the best things I have bought in a long time! Inexpensive, works perfectly and elminates the need to sync my phone using the usb cable. It's faster than syncing, and I can also add photos, etc, that I would have had to pay for pic messaging to get on the phone otherwise. It also is great to carry with you with information in case you need to access data at work/friend's house/etc. I have an extra micro-card that I keep in the reader/writer and it has my favorites for ie on it,...

Excellent Great stuff here. Works like a champ, no problems. And the Transflash/MicroSD card easily slides in and out using a sprint loaded slot. So just push it in and click. To get it out, just push the transflash card in a bit and click and it pops right out.
And it's as small as a USB Flash Drive.

Too thick Tech Level: high Ownership: less than 1 day
Pros: Reads and writes cards. It is faster than Garmin USB devices that only implement version 1.1 of the USB protocol. Useful if you often create your own maps.
Cons: Violates USB 2 standards as far as the connector is concerned. I cannot plug it in parallel with another USB plug in an adjacent slot on my laptop or desktop.
Also, compared to other flash devices it seems quite slow to me...

good small size, and does its job well Although I am using the MiniSD version (GFR201SDMP) of the same product line, I saw little difference in appearance between the two (I saw them both on display at a "bricks and mortar" retailer)...

Nifty, functional, but cheap material Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Works like a charm, has a cover for the microSD card. Fits into usb slot and doesn't block other usb devices.
Cons: Cheap plastic, for the price I paid I was expecting a decent plastic design. USB-Cap doesn't stick very well and will fall off in your pocket.
Other Thoughts: I bought this to xfer files with my...

Great Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Easy to just plug in a microSD card and use.
Cons: Only works when I plug it directly into one of my back USB ports.
Other Thoughts: Bought this to use with a Kingston 1gig microSD card, also from Newegg. The slot takes some breaking in time, after which, the card slides in and out relatively easier.
