For the price, not bad but........ For the price paid, this is not a bad unit. Basically sturdy, it seems to have no problem picking up the dirt and debris from the carpeted areas,the tiled floors and hardwood floors. The container that holds the dirt is pretty easy to empty but I have a new home and when I vacuum the new carpets the "fuzz" that gets picked up is hard to empty out of the dirt container because the filter base is wider then it's base at the bottom of the dirt container.
