great drive at a great price
 
Nothing special about this and nothing cheap (as in low quality).<br>I paired this with an Apricorn enclosure and have a great external drive. It is quiet and fast. My Mac running OS 10.4.8 recognizes the drive at full capacity. In fact, I use the drive as my startup disc.<br> I got a great deal!

Good Dependable Hard Drives
 
I like to build my own computers so I have always used and liked Western Digital hard drives. Their hard drives have been dependable for me. The Caviar carries their best warranty with 3 years. I have found their customer service is great too!!

Good performance to price ratio
 
For the price this drive provides performance and capacity difficult to beat. I can't speak to reliability as the drive is new, but in the past WD drives I've owned have last 5+ years.

Excellent drive
 
For the money I spent, this drive is definitely worth it. Western Digital is a company I have come to trust in my 20+ years in the computer industry.
