It is definitely worth every penny spent.............. I recently bought this hard drive and I have never installed any PC parts by myself before. Fortunately, it was easily to install into desktop PCs by following the easy step-by-step installation guide. Besides, it's featuring 16MB cache buffer instead of 8MB. This is a really great storage for people who downloaded a lot like me; plus it has 1-year limited warranty. I'm very happy with this MAXTOR hard drive. It is definitely worth every penny spent.

Excellent Drives Recently picked a few of these up, and I must admit I'm rather happy with the performance and sound levels.
No whining, drive thrashing, or other irritating effects, 4 of these is more than enough storage for anyone out there. Thumbs up for Maxtor.

Excellent harddrive I put this in my Playstation 2 expansion bay and it works perfectly. It is super quiet and runs fairly cool. Have had no problems whatsoever.
